I apologize in advance for the amount of gushing I'm about to do over Kit & Ace. Be prepared for this blog to be full of Kit & Ace this Fall/Winter, because honestly, if I could afford it, that would be the only brand I would wear. They define casual luxury, and their clothing is just my absolute favorite. I'm drooling over this cozy wrap, this chic coat (it's reversible!), this warm puffer, and this sweater dress is just stunning. I own this sweater from last year, and guys trust me, it's worth the investment!

The cardigan I'm wearing here is of course by Kit & Ace, and I actually snagged it in their big end of season sale a couple months ago for less than 50% the original price. When they have their sales, I'm always sure to stock up! Unfortunately it is no longer available, but I highly highly recommend picking up this wrap version which I promise you will live in this year.

I just love finding a good lookalike of a pricey pair of shoes I've had my eyes on. Steve Madden kills it with the designer copycats - I have to give them that. These shoes are identical to a pair of Schutz I've had my eye on, so I had to grab them immediately (they're really not that much cheaper, but it's worth it). The great news is, they are actually amazing quality, super comfortable, and come in a variety of gorgeous colors. I highly recommend picking up a pair, or grabbing the chunky heeled pair which is a bit easier to walk in.

Welcome Summer

Well Summer sure came out of no where! I feel like we went from winter to summer with no in-between time. It's been 80+ and humid in the city for the past week, making it pretty darn miserable. I ended up going up to Manchester, VT for Memorial Day weekend, assuming it would be a nice, cooler getaway. Unfortunately, I was wrong. It was suffocatingly hot and humid, but luckily I spent most of my time in the pool. As you can see, I look a little lobstery (guess I over did it with the sun, and under-did it it with the sunscreen. Ooops!). 

Luckily, I brought along my favorite Intermix dress I grabbed on sale last year. It is the easiest dress to throw on with a pair of flats, or dress up with some wedges/heels. I absolutely love it! Unfortunately, it's sold out, but I've linked some similar pieces above, as well as some of my favorite casual, shift dresses below. Hope you all had a great long weekend!
