I just love finding a good lookalike of a pricey pair of shoes I've had my eyes on. Steve Madden kills it with the designer copycats - I have to give them that. These shoes are identical to a pair of Schutz I've had my eye on, so I had to grab them immediately (they're really not that much cheaper, but it's worth it). The great news is, they are actually amazing quality, super comfortable, and come in a variety of gorgeous colors. I highly recommend picking up a pair, or grabbing the chunky heeled pair which is a bit easier to walk in.

If I was told to pick my top go-to basic pieces for fall, the list above would sum it up. Looking to invest in some good staples? These are the classic pieces that come back every year, no matter what, and would be a good starting point. A classic silk dress, moto boots, the fisherman sweater, a basic tee... I own a version of almost everything above, and wear these things frequently (if not too often) during the cooler months.
