Style File: The Oversized Turtleneck
Gosh I just love a good, chunky, oversized turtleneck. It may be one of my favorite pieces in the cooler temperatures. They just look so amazing with anything - skinnies and heels, over the knee boots, with a skirt, over a dress... I love the layering ability you have with them. My absolute favorite turtleneck is from Aritzia (last year), but thank god they decided to come back with it this year in a few more colors. I was tempted to pick up one of each! Embroidered pieces are so big this summer. A little embroidery and lace puts the perfect touch on a maxi dress or a top. I love all the dresses Calypso St. Barth has right now - they are big on adding some embroidered detail to pretty much everything, like all of their tops, and this piece for example. J.Crew has also been going to town with this trend, with pieces like this top, and this dress. Are you guys digging this trend like I am?
