Collection Crush: Janessa Leone

I've never been a huge hat girl. I just don't have that thick, wavy hair that looks incredible under a wide brimmed hat (see above), but this fall, I've been leaning towards getting one of these felt beauties. I've accepted the fact that my hair won't look like the gorgeous model's above, but there are ways to wear your hair in a low bun underneath the hat (see here and here), that look chic and fabulous too. These hats are such a classic, investment piece, that you just can't go wrong. So, because of that, Janessa Leone is my collection crush of the week. Yes, the hats aren't cheap, but they are something you would have in your closet forever.

Tory Burch Fall Boot Collection

I saw the Simone over the knee boots for the first time last Friday and just about bought them on the spot. I did end up talking myself out of it, but I'll have you know that they are #1 on my splurge list this fall (if I ever do end up splurging on anything)... I'm crossing my fingers TB has a friends & family sale, ASAP.

I'm loving the elastic detail and back zip on the Newton booties. They remind me of my old equestrian boots I used to wear riding almost every day. They look adorable with a pair of rolled up jeans, don't they?

I own a pair of heeled Tory Burch boots, and they are by far, the most comfortable heels I own. I could wear them for hours on end and my feet never hurt. I highly recommend! If not, definitely go for a wedge version like the Leila wedge boots. 

Aren't they all so gorgeous? TB always kills it with her boot line. I try to add a pair to my collection every year, if my wallet will allow it.

Collection Crush: Vince Fall 2014

Big, chunky sweaters; long, drapey coats; soft, cozy knits; all around classic pieces... These are all the words I'd use to describe the Vince line. Really, I have a crush on all the Vince pieces, but when I saw the Fall collection (available for pre-order now), I got incredibly excited for the cooler weather. I know, sounds crazy right? But I cannot wait to grab one of their oversized cozy sweaters, or a super chic, gorgeous coat - umm, this one please!? The fur sneakers are pretty darn cool too - I'd love them with some black leggings and a big sweater.
