My first week in New York has been a total blast - full of wandering, exploring, a little shopping, and lots of eating. Yesterday, I spent the entire afternoon outside because the weather was incredible. Had a delicious brunch at Buvette (I highly recommend this adorable little French place - they had amazing patio seating too), wandered Bleeker St. and popped into a few shops. I fell in LOVE with this gorgeous Cynthia Rowley dress... My friends threw me a little welcome dinner last Wednesday at Sotto 13, which had the best mushroom/truffle oil pizza ever. Friday night, we hit The Standard hotel rooftop for some drinks and a view, and boy, what a view - probably one of the best in the city for a rooftop bar. By the way, the bathrooms are the coolest I've ever been in. Saturday, I explored Central Park with a friend. I've never seen a park so busy - people were running, biking, walking and playing. It was such a fun scene. Oh, and I had my first ever cronut. Holy AMAZING.
