Stylinity's Style Stage

How cool would it be if, with just one click, you could buy the entire outfit someone was wearing? Well thanks to Stylinity, that is now possible. Stylinity has created an enormous iPhone type computer, called the Style Stage, which they place in stores in the dressing room area. What the Style Stage does is it scans each individual piece of clothing or accessory you are wearing, and records all the data of the piece (details/information, price, and link to buy). It then takes four photos of you in different poses that you can delete or retake as many times as you'd like, which I love, because I never like any photos of myself the first time. Finally, all you need to do is scan the bar code with you Stylinity app on your phone, or if you don't have the app, the Style Stage gives you the option to just email the look to yourself. Stylinity then sends a link to your email with your photos, which you can share on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest... you name it really. How cool is that?

Amanda and I decided to go last Saturday and test it out, and ended up being there for a couple hours because it was so much fun. I'm usually a huge advocate of online shopping, because I absolutely hate the process of trying things on and getting all hot and bothered in dressing rooms. The Style Stage made this whole dressing room thing way more fun for me, which I didn't expect going into this. It's like having your own personal photographer follow you around as you try on outfits, and totally eliminates the necessity to take dressing room selfies (as much as I know you all still love those). Below are a couple of the looks we picked out...

I totally ended up buying these pants, so I'm sure there will be an upcoming outfit post on those very shortly. Then, Amanda and I also decided to have a little fun, and do a shoot together (below). Um, the faux fur cape is $12.99 by the way!!!

If you are one of the lucky ones who are in the Columbus area, you can also try out the very first Style Stage. Just visit The Limited at Easton Town Center to check it out!

xx
