J.Crew Puffer Coat // Talula Berkeley Sweater Dress (on sale!) // Zara Scarf (similar here) // Rachel Roy Boots (old, similar here)

Oh the famous Zara plaid scarf. I wear this on repeat year after year and I just can never seem to get tired of it. Of course, it's always sold out. They sold so fast last year, and brought back similar ones this year that disappeared just as quickly. Fortunately for you guys, a lot of stores have begun making "fakes" if you can call them that, since the Zara ones aren't expensive whatsoever. I found an identical one right here, as well as very similar one in a green and blue here. I live for plaid scarves in the cooler months. It is the perfect accent to any outfit - this one would be so blah without it!

By the way... This coat is on a big sale, plus an extra 40% off today! Shop it here, and use code ENDOFSEASON at checkout!

Resort Ready

Miguelina Cover Up // J.Crew Panama Hat // Katharine Page Sandals // Wilde Heart Dress // Lemlem Shorts // Julie Vos Bracelet // J.Crew Sweater // Marysia Swimsuit // Schutz Sandals // T-Shirt // Bop Basics Tote // Super Sunglasses // One Teaspoon Shorts // Coola Sunscreen // Joie Dress // J.Crew Maxi Dress

In exactly one week from now, I will be heading off to Cabo! Packing for a warm weather vacation is always a struggle for me during the winter time, because all my summer clothing is either packed away or buried under heavy sweaters and jeans. I'm the type of person who always seems to forget something essential (last time it was underwear, but I've forgotten snow pants on a ski trip before). To help me, I usually plan ahead by making some sort of list.

Prepping for a warm weather vacation is usually pretty simple. You could get away with a couple dresses, bathing suit, and sandals if you wanted really. One thing I never leave home without is my Coola sunscreen. This stuff is amazing - it's all organic and smells amazing. I'm also addicted to their chapstick. I always make sure I bring some sort of hat with me. I have very fair skin, and the sun down there will fry it in a second, so I like to keep something on hand to cover my face. A bathing suit is a must. I am absolutely lusting after these bikinis, but just haven't bit the bullet and bought one yet. Looking for a one piece? This one is so chic! Ondademar is one of my favorite bathing suit retailers - I actually discovered them down in Cabo a couple years ago. Next, I always make sure to pack at least one maxi dress. A maxi is such a versatile piece. They work perfectly as a cover up during the day, and you can dress them up with some pretty jewelry and a clutch at night. Inadh makes one of my absolute favorites. Make sure you have a beach tote on hand to pack all your pool side essentials (I love this one and this one if you're looking to spend a little extra). Lastly, I always have a good pair of flat sandals on hand. If you haven't heard of Katharine Page yet, check her shoes out. They are absolutely gorgeous.

Ps - I purchased the Joie dress above and it is absolutely incredible. I'd highly recommend it... and I'm sure you all will see a post on it soon!

There's not much I can say about this coat other than the fact that it is the best investment you can ever make, living in New York (or any cold climate for that matter). It is the warmest coat I've ever worn, and the hood may be the best part - it's oversized, so it protects perfectly from the freezing winds. I've been wearing this on repeat the past couple weeks since I received it for Christmas. Canada Goose seems to be in high demand this year, so most are sold out, but I've picked some other great styles below!
