Friday Favorites

4. It's that time when everyone starts applying for new jobs (if you were planning to do so of course), because it's hiring season! Top places to work and career advice, right here. 
5. Creative, yummy and yet healthy breakfast idea I've been wanting to try.
6. How to survive the depressing winter months. I don't know about you, but I actually like the winter... I guess I'm sort of a freak?

A few other things I'm loving this week...

• This cardigan. I think this might be my birthday gift to myself, since I cannot stop thinking about it...
• A really cool workout gear company I just discovered, oh and this top.
• The 50 Shades of Grey trailer. Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.
• How to manage stressful situations. I stress over everything. It's something I need to work on in the new year.
• Leaving your job and going out on your own: pretty much the scariest thing in the world, but this post is incredible and inspiring. I got chills (really). 
• The Aritzia sale is good... really good. And it got even better today with more markdowns!

Collection Crush: Parajumpers

I've been crushing hard on the Parajumpers outwear collection since discovering the brand recently. Their coats are just to die for. I'm loving their unique details - they put a little twist on an otherwise pretty normal puffer coat. They also offer an incredible variety of styles, from leather and shearling, to vests, to lightweight short jackets, to long puffers.

These are just a couple of their long puffer options. They probably have 10 different lightweight to heavyweight styles. I'd say my absolute favorite is the Harraseeket Eco. It's got a heavy down fill, removable fur hood, and more. For lightweight, I'd go for the Irene6, which is offered in pretty much every color under the sun. I'll take the navy one please.

How cute is the bomber on the left? You could dress it up or down. The lightweight jackets in the middle and on the end are just perfect for every day use. The super lightweight styles (Juliet6) come in over 10 different colors, while the Veronica comes in the most gorgeous green and navy colors too.

Bear Vest // Dodie6 // Bruna

I love vests because of their versatility and ability to layer them over and under so many different pieces. The fur trimmed hood gives the one on the left a little something extra.

Leather and fur? One of the best combinations ever. That coat in the middle is pretty much my dream coat. It is the most beautiful coat I think I may have ever seen...

My Mackage jacket... an oldie but goodie. I think I've had this one for about 3 years now? And yet it is still my go-to dressy coat. I first saw it on a mannequin at Aritzia, absolutely fell in love, and decided I needed it immediately. I have yet to find a black coat that even comes close to this, although my second fave is my Theory jacket.

When going out, I sometimes don't even take this off. The drape and fit of it is just so pretty I can't help but make it a part of my outfit. Mackage makes some serious quality pieces - I love every single one of their coats, but I've really had my eye on this one lately. It would save me from the wind and bitter cold that hits NYC during the winter.
