Nantucket Part I

Aerial view of my favorite island.

Main street in town, the most perfect little town ever, with it's old cobblestone streets and brick sidewalks. So much history here (and awesome shopping of course).

Dinner & drinks at the Galley Beach restaurant, which is immediately on the beach (you can literally have a table that sits on the sand). The views of the sunsets are incredible. One of my favorite spots in Nantucket.

The houses in Nantucket, especially Cliff road, are absolutely insane. This was one of my favorites...

Speaking of Tommy Hilfiger's house...

If you follow my Instagram, you've probably figured out by now that I spent the past week in Nantucket, one of my absolute favorite spots. There are really no words to describe how much I love this little island - the town, the restaurants, the matching houses... Everything about it is just perfection. We stayed at the Cliffside Hotel & Beach Club, which I would highly recommend. They have an incredible pool, the rooms are directly on the beach, and it's connected to the Galley Beach restaurant which is one of my favorite restaurants on the island. We also checked out Cru, which was right on the harbor and had wonderful food and atmosphere, but my top pick was for sure Lola 41. Lola 41 is famous for their burgers for sure, but everything on the menu is incredible (think lobster risotto, gnocchi, salads, and a whole sushi menu). They have a little bit of everything.

Of course we ended up doing so major shopping over the weekend, some of my favorite stores being Peter Beaton, Murray's Toggery Shop (gotta stock up on Nantucket reds of course!), NRO and Blue Beetle. We also hiked Sanford Farms and swung by the necessary sandwich staples: Fresh & Something Natural.

Stay tuned for the Nantucket part 2 post!

Another Hamptons weekend in the books. This time, we went out to South Hampton for a party a friend was hosting. Some of the highlights included bonfires on the beach, a dance floor, good food and great music, plus the house had the most gorgeous view (as you can see from the pictures). We hit the Hampton Coffee Company Sunday morning for some much needed coffee/green smoothies. It was an absolute perfect weekend, but I'm happy to be home. By the way, I'm wearing an Indah maxi dress - one of my favorites!

I spent the long 4th of July weekend in the Hamptons (specifically Montauk), with a group of my girlfriends from college. This was my first time in the Hamptons, and it was an absolute blast. It was easy to get to, other than being packed on the train like sardines, and our hotel/condo was gorgeous. We stayed at the Panoramic View hotel, which is directly connected to Gurney's, another gorgeous resort that was newly renovated. Since Gurney's had the restaurants, we ate most of our meals there. The food was delicious (although a bit overpriced of course). I highly recommend the lobster BLT, the mac and cheese, and the french fries; and Sunday brunch is THE best hangover cure. We also ate at the Rushmeyer's restaurant which didn't disappoint either, although we had to wait 2 hours for a table. The atmosphere was so pretty, with cute paper lanterns hanging from the trees outdoors and picnic table seating. Some other great places to hit are The Surf Lodge, Sloppy Tuna, The Point, and John's Drive In (best milkshakes EVER).
