I'm all about the creams, whites, pastels and of course the ripped up slouchy jeans this spring. I've had my eye on these Joe's jeans forever, and I think it's time to pull the trigger. You can never have too many pairs of destroyed jeans, can you? I'm also loving the Cynthia Rowley spring line... if you haven't noticed, I've included a few of her pieces in my favorites lately, including this gorgeous silk top. Her colors are absolutely to DIE for, so much so that I may even need to do a whole separate post on this. I want absolutely everything, but that's no surprise there. I've also never been a fan of the short Hunter boots until now. I saw them on a few people recently, and decided that I loved how cute and casual they look with a pair of ripped up jeans (see what I mean about my obsessed with destroyed jeans?). That and they're perfect if you have a little bit of a larger calf.

Sunshine. It makes me sooo incredibly happy. Last Tuesday was the first (and only) amazing day we have had yet this spring, and I spent literally every second I could outside. There's something about the sun that just warms me from the inside out and makes me feel so content. It's about time my sunglasses got some use. I feel like they've been in storage for the past 6 months.

 Let's talk clothes. I have officially jumped on the boyfriend jean bandwagon and am so excited to start wearing these babies everywhere. Gap's spring pieces are stop on, at least I think so since I'm wearing it head to toe here. Sometimes I think Gap gets a bad rap, but they have never ever let me down. I like to call Gap my staple store as I always seem to get my best, simple, most worn pieces there. Unfortunately, their boyfriend jeans are currently sold out, but I've selected some of my other favorites below.

"Learn from yesterday, live for today"... Couldn't be more of a true statement. I bought this cuff from the local Rowe Boutique a couple months ago, and I wear it to remind myself this on a daily basis. The past is the past - never over analyze, over-think, or worry too much about it, because if you do, your life will pass right before your eyes. Learn from it and move on. Use it to create and build your future. That's what were all so focused on anyways, isn't it? We are all in a constant state of trying to better ourselves, our lives, over-achieving, and thinking of what our five year and ten year plans are, where we want to live next, what our next job will be, and the list goes on and on. Sometimes, we're so busy we forget to sit still and enjoy the present. That's my goal for this weekend. I'm going to stop worrying about what happened yesterday, what tomorrow will bring, and just be present and enjoy it.
