The color of the season this winter was for sure burgundy... or wine, oxblood, maroon... whatever you want to call it, it was absolutely everywhere! I grabbed this J.Crew coat on a super sale at the end of the season to finally replace my 5 year old North Face Parka. It was time for an upgraded, more adult version, and now I wish I could have one in every color. It's my new go-to coat for the colder temps. 

One of my favorite things is to search for some of the amazing deals at the end of the season sales. I've found some of my favorite winter pieces during the spring and summer as strange as that sounds. If you only focus on all the fun, new pieces coming out, you miss the huge savings on some of the best winter items. Even though I don't want to wear these again for another 10 months probably, I did just grab these Hunter Welly socks at 50% off... Another great find of mine was the Ugg boots. I purchased during an August sale at Shopbop (no joke). I seriously love shopping the sales.

I am so excited at the amount of Spring clothes that have been appearing! My to-do shoe list is getting longer and longer by the second. I'm loving all the point-toe pumps, strappy sandals, and chic flats that are hitting the stores. Because I couldn't include them all on the list above, I picked some of my top favorites below. How cool is this vintage blazer/coat? It was my moms, and she hadn't worn it for years, so she decided to hand it down to me. I love the fact that it is many years old, but still looks like I bought it last week. Nothing like a great vintage piece, right!?
