Gosh I just love a good, chunky, oversized turtleneck. It may be one of my favorite pieces in the cooler temperatures. They just look so amazing with anything - skinnies and heels, over the knee boots, with a skirt, over a dress... I love the layering ability you have with them. My absolute favorite turtleneck is from Aritzia (last year), but thank god they decided to come back with it this year in a few more colors. I was tempted to pick up one of each! It is worth the investment, trust me. Shop a few more of my favorites below.

The Flounce Dress

The flounce dress... Not the easiest style to pull off, but do it right, and it's adorable. I have had a small obsession with the Cynthia Rowley flounce dress all summer. I may or may not have gone to the store on Bleeker to try it on once... or maybe even twice. If I could have my way, I'd pick up the red version immediately.

This style has really picked up some speed this year, with many designers jumping on the bandwagon. The Cynthia Rowley version will always have my heart, (and is a perfect fall transition piece) but some more of my favorites are below.

Mirror, Mirror

Sunglasses from top to bottom: Oliver Peoples Eyewear // Jimmy Choo // Matthew Williamson // Ray Ban // Marc by Marc Jacobs // Ray Ban

Has anyone else noticed how big mirrored sunglasses (especially the blue/teal versions) have become!? I love the pop of color they add to an outfit without being too overbearing. The mirrored lens puts such a great twist on the classic aviator, and I'm also loving the chunkier versions with the different colored rims. There is just something about the bright blue lens that makes a whole look more appealing to me...

I'll let you guys in on a little secret... I picked up the Ray Ban mirrored aviators for almost half price on Overstock.com. If you sign up for emails, they send you almost daily coupons for 10-15% off (and I applied that to my sunglasses purchase). Talk about a good deal!
