The color of the season this winter was for sure burgundy... or wine, oxblood, maroon... whatever you want to call it, it was absolutely everywhere! I grabbed this J.Crew coat on a super sale at the end of the season to finally replace my 5 year old North Face Parka. It was time for an upgraded, more adult version, and now I wish I could have one in every color. It's my new go-to coat for the colder temps.

One of my favorite things is to search for some of the amazing deals at the end of the season sales. I've found some of my favorite winter pieces during the spring and summer as strange as that sounds. If you only focus on all the fun, new pieces coming out, you miss the huge savings on some of the best winter items. Even though I don't want to wear these again for another 10 months probably, I did just grab these Hunter Welly socks at 50% off... Another great find of mine was the Ugg boots. I purchased during an August sale at Shopbop (no joke). I seriously love shopping the sales.

There is nothing more chic than a well tucked in blouse, right? I was recently sent "The Diva" body suit from the amazing people at Bradamant. I just discovered them a little over a month ago, and if you haven't heard of them, it's definitely time to check them out. They make the most gorgeous body suits - which you would never know were that, because all of them look like a beautiful blouse or tank. You can pair them with a skirt, pants... whatever really, and you have a chic, put together look. I'm loving the black silky material of my "Diva" style, with it's stretchy, comfortable sides. You feel so put together, and never need to worry about your shirt coming untucked. A total win in my book.

Also, the amazing photos above, were taken by my incredibly talented friend, Leila Karaze. She has such an eye for photography. We had such a blast taking pics and I am so excited to work with her! Make sure you follow her on Facebook also.

Last week was Fashion Week here in Columbus, OH. I attended the Finale Runway Show on Saturday night, which is an event where some of the best local designers get to showcase their top pieces. The headliner designer was Nary Manivong, and his line was pretty gorgeous. All the pieces were silky and flowed beautifully - I was in love with all of his dresses that came down the runway. For photos of his line, check out

It was a full house and sold out show.

The show kicked off with a very cool dance segment - a little ballet and hip hop combined.

This was my favorite dress - the back was incredible.
